ZOE Empowers Ministries

Zoe Empowers transforms the lives of orphaned and vulnerable young people in Africa and India. In just three years they will move from extreme poverty to self-sufficiency thanks to the empowerment model. After graduating from Zoe’s program, these young people will become self-sufficient, able to provide food, clothing, shelter, education, medical care, and social support for themselves and their families. Zoe Empowers seeks to realize a glimpse of God’s reign on earth through empowering the most vulnerable of God’s children physically, psychologically, and spiritually. Since 2016 Aldersgate United Methodist Church has partnered with five empowerment groups in Rwanda and helped hundreds of young people thrive. Periodically, AUMC organizes trips to Rwanda to meet our partnered groups and see the program in action. To learn more, please contact Wendy Lee at or visit the website

Cambodian Mission

Aldersgate supports work in Cambodia through the Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church, whose goal is to equip and transform people and places for God’s mission. Global Ministries partners with agencies and individuals to alleviate human suffering and strengthen communities. AUMC supports the Lees, a missionary family with yearly donations.
